I think Ted has always had a Bucket List trek in mind to combine all of his favorite hobbies: fishing, hunting, birding, kayaking (he wanted bicycling too!) and traveling with me. I’m happy I am at least included in the list. HaHa!
We have been packing for 2 days. Despite my best efforts, we still look like the Beverly Hillbillies with ropes and straps double knotted and pool noodles popping up….
We have SO much crammed into the truck:
- Half a dozen fishing poles, fishing nets, and lures
- Gun, shotgun shells, and camo plus neon orange
- Binoculars, Birdbooks, Scope and tripod
- Kayaks, lifevests, gloves and whistles
- Clothes, shoes, raingear and pillows
- Plus, food, maps and oh so much more!
Our plan is to spend a few days exploring Indiana and Illinois on our way to Wisconson. So, the Adventure begins!
