May 10: Holland
We stopped at a Nature Center in Michigan before traveling to Holland. Sarret Nature Preserve has miles of trails, a canopy level boardwalk (so you can look down on the birds and trees) and feeders at the visitor center. Black squirrels are everywhere and we even saw a woodchuck. I tried to ask the woodchuck how much wood it would chuck but it wouldn’t answer. I guess this will remain a mystery.

We have been concerned we would miss the tulip bloom in Holland, but we made it in time! Our first stop; tulip display fields:

Next stop: Downtown. Ted showed his real talent. He can parallel park a trailer!

It was a long day playing tourist, so we had some ice cream (of course!) and headed for camp.
